St John's Shaughnessy Anglican Church, Vancouver is a community of Christians dedicated to the exposition and teaching of the Word of God, to the spreading of the good news of the Gospel at home and abroad, and to the application of God's purpose in our own lives and families.

For many of us, the concept of religion reminds us of foreign rituals and rigid moralities that seem to say little about our regular lives. And yet there must be more to it all.
This course aims to get beyond the trappings of 'religion' and explore the heart of the Christian faith. It is designed to explore the contemporary significance of Christianity at its core through reflecting upon the ancient biography of Jesus written by Luke.
