Who we are:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7.

Prayer during communion – every first and third Sunday at both the 9 am and the 11 am worship services during communion, there are prayer teams who are available to pray with us, inviting us to bring all the concerns, desires, and petitions of our hearts. And as part of every Evening Service, there are prayer teams available to pray with members of the congregation.

Keeping Company with God – this prayer service is held every second and fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 pm. Held in Taize style, this is an incredibly uplifting time. The service starts with a short homily, quiet reflective music and songs, followed by periods of quietness silent prayer, and if you so desire, an opportunity to be prayed with by a member of our prayer team.

Prayer Chain – crises can’t wait for scheduled prayer times. A prayer chain is active at St. John’s and available for those in need. Confidentiality is assured.
