What is CCQ?
Through the month of February 2018, we spent one evening a week as a congregation equipping one another for the great task of evangelism.
CCQ is an acronym for the three components that were included each evening:
- Connecting with people in our lives
- Content of the gospel
- Questions people frequently ask when they hear we are Christians
The aim of CCQ was to equip ourselves to become more intentional, prayerful, and articulate in our witness for Christ. It was a practical workshop where we learned from each other about how to witness. Throughout and moving forward, our hope is for God to increase our sense of dependence on him for fruitfulness and faithfulness in this area.
We have good news to share
We hold this to be true: the good news that God so loved the world he sent his only son, so that all who believe in him might not perish but have everlasting life. This is the only truly good news in a world full of bad news.
Here on the West Coast there is a deep desire for spiritual authenticity and a deepening suspicion that the Christian faith has nothing to offer. Through CCQ we addressed this tension and provided encouragement and equipping to share the good news.
Each CCQ session has been recorded and posted below for those who want to listen. The sessions were quite interactive so we've removed the sections when people were working together in small groups.
On the right are resources that were handed out.
The middle section of each workshop was content, which covered a portion of the gospel.
Below are the gospel teachings from each evening.
