We hold this to be true: the good news that God so loved the world he sent his only son, so that all who believe in him might not perish but have everlasting life. This is the only truly good news in a world full of bad news.
Here on the West Coast there is a deep desire for spiritual authenticity and a deepening suspicion that the Christian faith has nothing to offer. Through CCQ we want to address this tension and encourage and equip you to share the good news.
Beginning in mid-February, we are going to gather for four Tuesday nights in a row to ask God for a way forward, and to place our trust in the Lord of harvest by equipping one another for the great task of evangelism.
CCQ stands for the three components of each evening:
The aim of CCQ is to equip ourselves to become more intentional, prayerful, and articulate in our witness for Christ. It will be practical. We want to draw from each other what we are learning about our witness. Our hope is that God would give us an increased sense of our dependence on him for fruitfulness and faithfulness in this area.
We have designed this for everyone in the church. We are hoping that all mid week groups will come together to CCQ instead of their regular weekly meetings.
CCQ will take place at 7:00 pm on:
We will be meeting at St. John's Vancouver, 5350 Baillie Street. There will not be childcare provided.
Each CCQ session will be recorded and posted to the website for those who aren't able to join us or want to listen back to what they heard.
The sessions are quite interactive so we've removed the sections when people are working together in small groups.
If you're looking for more information regarding what CCQ is about, we've made a couple videos.
