Who we are:

St John's Shaughnessy Anglican Church, Vancouver is a community of Christians dedicated to the exposition and teaching of the Word of God, to the spreading of the good news of the Gospel at home and abroad, and to the application of God's purpose in our own lives and families.

connect with us > birth to 3

The B..3’s probably have the most fun of any of our connections groups – but you have to be under three to come!

Sunday mornings
Starting at zero, we provide a nursery during the 9 am Sunday morning worship service. Baby is welcome in the nursery (the south side of the lower church hall) at any time during the service. Crawl along if you feel like a good bawl – or just for a change.

First steps
At 18 months you’ll want to move on to something more challenging during those long Sunday morning services, and we have just the thing. “First Steps” is a curriculum from St. Matthias Media that our teachers use to lay Biblical foundations for our youngest church family members. But it’s not only learning, there’s praying and singing too! If you are under three, don’t hesitate to toddle along to this group. And if you absolutely must talk to your Mom or Dad while they’re in the adult service, then we can reach them on the special pager we give them.

Tuesday mornings (currently not running)
And to help fill up your week, please consider our Tuesday morning at 10 am drop-in program. This will be great for your Mom too, although she’ll probably enjoy talking about you with the other Moms more than watching the puppet shows. But bring her along anyway and ask her to join in the singing. We really do have a good time.

If you need more details get on your cell phone, book yourself in, then tell your Mom you’ve got a date. See you in the nursery!
