St John's Shaughnessy Anglican Church, Vancouver is a community of Christians dedicated to the exposition and teaching of the Word of God, to the spreading of the good news of the Gospel at home and abroad, and to the application of God's purpose in our own lives and families.

Marriage and parenting are cycles of life. Yet none of us are born with an owner’s manual to face these new challenges of our lives. Join this practical course and meet other parents who have the same challenges.
The Marriage and Parenting course is designed to equip and support Christian parents in marriage and raising children. Topics are wide ranging, from books to read to children, how to talk about sex, to dealing with drug problems. Parents are encouraged to get to know each other during a short dessert and social time before the speakers are introduced.
The program begins quarterly, and sessions are held on the last Friday of each month. The course is open to any couples who have children – from babies to teenagers – or are planning a family.
In addition, a Marriage Mentoring program is available for married couples. Participants learn from godly experienced couples in our congregation.
