Many Christians often don’t find prayer ‘easy’. We have a general sense that we should pray, and pray more. We are embarrassed, even ashamed of how we pray. The idea of praying aloud in a group fills us with all kinds of self-focused worries. However, God loves every one of our prayers and every movement in our hearts to pray: he put the desire there in the first place. And we can help each other.

The Psalms show us that prayer is a dialogue with God, not a monologue. In this quarterly prayer meeting, Marion Maxwell will walk us through how the Psalms teach us to pray. We encourage each person in the church to attend this session from 7:30 to 9:00 pm on Monday, Dec 4 in the Church Fellowship Hall.
