Many Christians often don’t find prayer ‘easy’. We have a general sense that we should pray, and pray more. We are embarrassed, even ashamed of how we pray. The idea of praying aloud in a group fills us with all kinds of self-focused worries.
God loves every one of our prayers and every movement in our hearts to pray: he put the desire there in the first place. And we can help each other.
This year we are holding four quarterly prayer meetings where we will try to learn to pray. No matter your experience with prayer, everyone is welcome to attend! Each night we will learn a simple, practical method of praying, then practice it together. We will meet at 7:00 pm on May 1 in the Church Fellowship Hall. David Short will be speaking about the Lord's Prayer, and we hope that you will join us.
