Who we are:
St John's Shaughnessy Anglican Church, Vancouver is a community of Christians dedicated to the exposition and teaching of the Word of God, to the spreading of the good news of the Gospel at home and abroad, and to the application of God's purpose in our own lives and families.
St. John's is actively involved in missions work, both in our local community and internationally.

Our Missions Committee’s three key objectives are:
- Provide financial and prayer support for those in the field
- Raise awareness of the importance of missions
- Encourage members of the congregation to participate in projects both locally and overseas.
Our missions committee administers an annual budget used to support thirty-five individuals and organizations involved in activities ranging from helping to reform sex-trade workers in Vancouver's eastside to translation services in Africa.
