For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1: 5-8
David Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ On behalf of the church board of the Hope Reformed Church of Vancouver, I am writing to you to communicate our encouragement to and support for you in your faithful stand for the Gospel. The struggle you face as you contend for “the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints (Jude 3)” is widely known…and it was our desire to let you know that you are not alone. Of course you have much support in the wider Anglican Communion as you stand firm against the worldliness of the local bishop, but you should know that there are many others who also pray that God would grant you steadfastness, courage, wisdom, graciousness, and success in these difficult times. Our prayers are with you for God’s blessing, In Christ, Rev. Randy Opmeer Dear Brothers and Sisters, We want to stand with you and support you as you prepare for the forthcoming court case, and we are planning to spend some time praying for your situation at our church prayer meeting tonight. Be assured of our prayers and support both tonight, and in the days to come. In His Service, Gary McMurray, St Elizabeth’s Church, Dundonald, Belfast, in Northern Ireland Dear Clergy, Trustees and Congregation of St. John’s Shaughnessy We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to God the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. The God who comforts us in the time of troubles, and difficult situations such as the church is going through in this world, the church in the early time had gone through persecutions but in all Christ is the winner. Whereby he encourages us to stand firm for his kingdom to grow. We at St John Sudanese Anglican Church are also bearing what ANIC is going through as well as St John Shaughnessy. As we learned that today (May 11th) is a prayer date for what the Church is going through we cannot make it but are also sending, in spirit our voice of prayer that God will answer us.
