Whose People?

Oct 7, 2007

This passage reveals to us that God is the one who rules over every power on earth, that our present and future are in His hands, that we are led and governed in everything by His power. But the world’s opinion is that God doesn’t rule. His rule is hidden to those that don’t have faith in Him. Pharoah doesn’t heed the Lord, but God in Exodus displays His power so that it will be unmistakable that God is the ruler, God is the divine King. In this passage there are three ways God shows his rule: the lips of Moses, the heart of pharoah, and the hand of God.
