About the conference

LIVEWORD Vancouver Women’s Conference is organized by a group of interdenominational Bible believing women. We share the conviction that the Bible is the living Word of God, indeed that ‘All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness’ (2 Timothy 3:16) In turn we are convinced of the benefit of expository teaching. An expository message relates expressly to what the Scripture text says and draws its application points directly from the text. In other words, we seek to teach what the Bible says, desiring to handle the word of God rightly, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our vision for LIVEWORD Vancouver is to reach women in the lower mainland and beyond with biblical expository teaching from like individuals, for the purpose of growing women to maturity in Christ.

Our hope is that women who come to the conference will be challenged to read the Bible in a way that encourages deep engagement with God's Word. At the conference, you will have an opportunity to meet with, and be encouraged by other Christian women who take God’s word seriously and seek to live in a way that honours Him.
