Who we are:

volunteer > welcoming and hospitality

If you like meeting new people – turn it into a service!

"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling." 1 Peter 4:8-9

Welcoming newcomers

Our welcomers intentionally seek out new people in our worship services and other activities, welcome them to St. John’s, make them feel at home, and follow up as needed.

Sidespeople

Sidespeople serve during the worship services in greeting people with warm smiles, finding open seats, putting out extra seats if needed, and collecting the offering. It seems easy, but it takes talent to do it smoothly.

Coffee servers

Join a team to provide coffee, tea and refreshments between services – and to clean up afterwards! Steady hands with big teapots are a must.
