"For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Corinthians 6:20.
In our worship services we ask God to forgive our sins, praise Him for what He has done for us, receive instruction in how we should respond to Him, and glorify Him through worship.
In addition, there are several services in the week that focus on prayer. Prayer – communion with God – is an essential component of the Christian life, and praying together for common or individual needs can be very powerful. We encourage you to take part in this special way of helping others and to experience God’s blessing and direction.
More details of the Sunday morning, Sunday evening, evensong and prayer services can be found in this section, along with a clear explanation of why we worship and how important it is for us that we do so.
And look for our quarterly welcoming events, designed to give you a picture of what the St. John’s community is all about. We’ll tell you all about our services, ministries, missions, and clergy.
