Who we are:
St John's Shaughnessy Anglican Church, Vancouver is a community of Christians dedicated to the exposition and teaching of the Word of God, to the spreading of the good news of the Gospel at home and abroad, and to the application of God's purpose in our own lives and families.

2000 years ago Jesus Christ rose from the dead and changed everything.
St. John’s evening service is a community of Vancouverites whose lives are being changed by this same Jesus.
We are convinced that there is nothing better in the world than knowing God. And so we meet every week on Sunday nights to hear God speak to us through His Word, to lift our voices in prayer and praise, and to encourage and support one another in the journey of Christian spiritual growth.
We are not bound together by age or ethnicity or anything else but our common trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. And that makes us a wonderfully diverse group of people – from 16 to 96 and anywhere in between. God builds us into a group of friends, and He uses each of our uniqueness in shaping a church that reflects His truth and love.
