jVYLC
Tuesday mornings from 9:30-1:30. Weekly in-depth study of 2 Peter, as well as learning how to study the Bible more effectively. The morning will involve quiet times, group discussions, guest speakers, lunch and prayer.

 
Sports Night
Tuesdays from 7:30-9:00. Come on Tuesday evenings for a great time of recreational sports and fellowship. We'll meet on the field of St. George's Senior School (W 27th @ Camosun). All are welcome!

 
Ekklesia
Wednesdays from 6:30-10:00. For young men and women past high school who are looking to grow in faith. We gather weekly for dinner, small group discussions and prayer. This summer, we will study Experiencing the Trinity by Darrell Johnson. Read more about Ekklesia

 
Morning DevOceanal
Thursdays from 10:00-1:00. Join us at Spanish Banks East (near the main concession) on Thursday mornings for a casual Bible study and devotional time. Don't forget to bring your Bible and some money for the concession!

 
Workers' Bible Study
Thursdays details TBA. If you have full-time work, this evening Bible study is a great fit for you! The study will be held on Thursday evenings.

 
Ministry of Friendship
This is a great opportunity for the more mature youth to serve and get to know the elderly in the congregation. We will be working alongside Edie Rittinger of St. John's Pastoral Care. Contact Robert Edwards

 

Special events

Kickstart Youth Conference
Sep 4–6. A weekend for all students to kickstart the new school year with excellent Bible teaching, great music and a few other surprises! Registration required. Read more

Vancouver Youth Leadership Conference
Aug 31 to Sep 3. This conference is aimed at equipping Christian youth leaders with tools for effective youth ministry. 4 days of inspirational leadership training, Biblical strategies, and discipleship. Read more

Summer trips

Grade 12 Houseboat Trip
To celebrate the end of high schoolf for Grade 12 students and some university folks, the houseboat trip will be on Lake Roosevelt, Washington from Jun 26 to Jul 1.

Summer Camp
All youth are invited to come out to the summer camp in Point Roberts from August 15 to 20. This will be a great time away to spend in fellowship and in God's Word. The comedy team Thunder and Lightning are coming out so it should be lots of fun. Contact Julie Moser for more information and to register for the summer camp.

Family Movie Nights
Once a month the youth and their families are welcome to join us in the courtyard to enjoy a couple of great movies. These nights will take place on Jul 10 and Aug 7.

Drive-in Movie Night
All the youth are invited to trek out to the suburbs of Vancouver for a good, old-fashioned drive-in movie to end off the summer! Details TBA. Aug 28.

Guys Overnight
This trip should really be called the Men's Overnight since we will be doing all things manly. It will take place on the weekend of Jul 18 – 19. Details TBA.
