In Zechariah 4:10, God the Father says:
"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin.”
St. John's Vancouver is called to be a sending church. In alignment with the priorities of our diocese, we are committed to training ministers and planting churches across Canada. We are committed to seeing the good work of sharing the Gospel begin and continue for generations to come.
How it Works
It all starts with a nudge from God to plant a church. From there, we support leaders in a discernment process in partnership with the ADOC and a trusted third-party. If all is approved, the St. John's clergy & Board of Trustees work with you on your next steps.

The ADOC is our diocese. One of their central goals is church planting in Canada, and raising up well-equipped church planters.

We will partner with a third-party to help you discern what your next steps should be. The organizations below offer assessments, coaching, and training in an effort to help church planters be as fruitful as possible:

Our Plants
How to Get Involved
Pray
Pray for these plants, for their leaders, for their congregations, and for the neighbourhoods they serve.
Give
Planting is costly in time, energy, and finance. Financial gifts go a long way for these teams in their pursuit of evangelism.
