Vicar

St. John's Vancouver is seeking a Vicar to join our pastoral leadership team. This is a senior pastoral role requiring a person with strong gifts in pastoral leadership, strategic ministry planning, training, team coordination, and a proven commitment to the mission of the gospel. The successful candidate will be a growing disciple of Jesus Christ who embraces the vision of St. John's Vancouver and the values of the Anglican Diocese of Canada.

Working closely with the Rector, the Vicar will help provide strategic leadership to the staff, foster a culture of training across the ministries of the church, and participate in preaching and pastoral ministry. The Vicar will help implement the ministry vision of St. John's by providing leadership, developing ministry staff and lay leaders, and serving the congregation with pastoral sensitivity and gospel clarity.
